Spotted this last week whilst out for a run. I assume it's just a bodykit and a nice set of wheels on an otherwise plain W124, but if anyone with knowledge of Australian market W124s can tell otherwise please let us know! Very clean example regardless.
Update: It's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! My brief search for similar cars for sale in the area turned up none other but this exact car. Turns out its a 300E with an original factory AMG kit. Very nice, though I think it's a little pricey.

that front bumper looks like it came off a 500E?
I found this one a while back

Looks like the chrome was blacked out.

Could be an AMG car, or an attempt at an AMG replica.

My first thought when I saw it was 500E (which I was first familiarised with thanks to your post!), but it turns out they were never sold here. The best w124 you could buy in Australia was a 300E.

Yes, hard to tell if the mods are original or just someone trying to make a 500E lookalike with aftermarket parts. My search for the truth continues...

Yes it had blacked out badges, hard to tell if they were original or not. Doesn't help that it had either been de-badged or never came with a model specific badge.
